All veterans of Norfolk, Va.'s rock scene, they have quickly become a well received and reviewed act. Taking cues from various artist and influences, The Bottle Babies move seamlessly through styles-weaving fragments of angst with catchy bends, hooks, and riffs. Led energetically by the throat of front man Todd Owens, the band is founded on rock 'n' roll tradition, built by energy and driven by the passion to perform.
The Bottle Babies released their CD, BORN ON A BENDER. The band worked very closely with producer, Steve Baise (of The Devil-Dogs & The Secrets) to create a recording of eleven (11) songs that hit you in a gut yet worthy of representing their roots. The Bottle Babies nail each and every song with a high-octane thrust and manage to capture an aggressive display of melody by unleashing the power of their musicianship and unique style. In 2005 and 2006 Nine Volt and Portfolio Magazine(s) have named The Bottle Babies as BEST "PUNK" BAND for the Tidewater/ Hampton Roads area. The band was also nominated for BEST ALBUM, BEST LIVE BAND, and BEST ROCK BAND by FM99 WNOR. We'd like to thank everyone for your support.
