COMMENTS
"Hampton Roads is burgeoning with talent waiting to be recognized. I feel the groundswell of surging creative influences through something as simple as the links my internet sends me... links to novelists, poets, actors, filmmakers, artists and art galleries. Calendars fill up with creative endeavors... art gallery exhibit openings promise to inspire and stir the Muse. Theatres boast plays showcasing local talent. A nearby film production studio, New Dominion Pictures Studio, yields Hollywood quality programming, that of which I am proud to have been a part.
Puppet makers create programs that help protect the rights of children and artists paint images that ultimately raise money for disaster victims. Fellow poets come out of the woodworks from all walks of life to shine at open mike nights. What a grand time and in what great company it is now to be a creative soul in Hampton Roads. I consider it a real blessing."
